After his demob from the R.F.C. John had found gainful employment at the Palace Theatre in Oldham. Below are a number of signed photos from this period, as well as some shots of people posing outside the Theatre with John. When the Theatre was converted to the Odeon Cinema, John was well placed to become the Chief Projectionist.
