Francis Bowden

*Pearce List says he died after arrest but not in prison. Said to be of Oldham and aged 21 in 1916.

Named on the wooden memorial plaque of COs who died which is held by the Peace Pledge Union.

No death found in GRO indexes.
No mention of him found in Oldham newspapers.

Search of 1911 census for F Bowden in Oldham area shows 13 people but only one male - Frank Bowden son of Nancy. He was killed 9 Aug 1915 (CWGC). Checked two called Frances - both female.
